This beautiful newly remodeled cottage is located on Lake Beseck in picturesque Middlefield, CT. The views of the lake are serene and produce an immediate feeling of tranquility. Betty’s Boat House sleeps 4. This is the smaller cottage of 2 attached units. If both cottages are rented together, the property sleeps 12.
This property is direct lake front with 2 private docks for guest use. One is a boat dock and another is a floating dock that you can swim to. There is a sandy public beach across the lake that guests also have access to. The space is entirely newly remodeled and furnished with everything you need to feel at home including a complete kitchen. All linens, towels and paper goods are provided. Also provided are gas grill, floats and chairs.
Guest access
Guests have their own locked entrance into Betty’s Boat House and access to the entire unit. There is shared access to the laundry room, with the larger unit. All entrances are keyed separately.
Neighborhood overview
This property is direct lakefront! This is a lake community and a quiet neighborhood. The surrounding area is rural however it is easy access off of Interstate 91 , via route 66 and route 147. There is a public beach swimming area across the lake and boat launch down the street. Golf course close by. Powder Ridge , Lyman Orchard, Wesleyan University, Powder Hill Dinosaur Park are all nearby and it is only 21 miles to the coast! It is 30 minutes to either New Haven or Hartford Ct. Lakeside Spa is 2 minutes from the property, also on the lake. Be sure to mention that you are a guest. Contact in advance to book appointments!

You must be 25 to rent this property. Rental of this property requires a rental agreement after booking. Guests are welcome to smoke outside. No pets are allowed.
